Wild Orchid Events is a full service event and wedding planning company. We are a mother, daughter team that believes every event should be exceptional. We both take pride in being able to help create some of the most magical occasions in our clients lives. Wild Orchid Events would be honored to assist in every aspect of the planning process whether it be a corporate luncheon, engagement party, or the most elaborate wedding.

After graduating from Ball State in 2004, Cara managed a Bar and Grill on the University's campus, teaching her that she loved interacting with customers and problem solving. This is when her real interest in event planning began. Everytime one of her friends had a birthday, shower, or party, Cara was put in charge because she planned the "best events." In the summer of 2007, Cara was ready to move back to Indy and explore a new career path. Taking a job in banking allowed her to master budgeting and continue developing relationships with customers. In her spare time Cara loves playing with her dog Tyson, spending time with her friends and family, decorating, and catching up on the latest fashion magazines. Still hoping to make a career out of a passion, Cara enrolled in the Wedding Planning Institute through IUPUI. After completing the class, Cara had a new found aspiration.

A graduate of Ohio State University, Denise had a retailing career which landed her in Indianapolis. Indianapolis is where she met her husband, and made a career switch to become a Fashion Optical Sales Representative traveling Indiana. After starting a family, Denise enjoyed being a full time Mom which also gave her the freedom to play tennis, garden, ATTEMPT to learn to play the violin, and become an enthusiastic soccer player, along with doing the regular Mom stuff. Wishing to add a creative twist to her interests, she enrolled in floral design classes at IUPUI and found another passion. Many classes and a professional certification from IUPUI resulted in employment as a florist and doing special floral designs. Denise loves the creative fulfillment that accompanies helping brides make Cinderella dreams come true.

Together Cara and Denise felt it was the right time to start Wild Orchid Events, LLC. Both passionate about creating magical events, it was a perfect fit. Cara and Denise would love to make your vision a reality.
